Titanium and its alloys have superior electrochemical properties compared to other alloy systems due the formation of a protective TiO2 film on metal surfaces. The ability generate oxide layer will depend upon type be used. aim this work was characterize corrosion behavior titanium Ti-CP2 Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo, Ti-6Al-4V, Ti Beta-C. Samples were anodized in 1 M H2SO4 H3PO4 solutions with current density 0.025 A/cm2. Electrochemical tests carried out using three-electrode cell exposed two electrolytes, i.e., 3.5 wt % NaCl at room temperature. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) used observe morphology techniques cyclic potentiodynamic polarization (CPP) noise (EN), based ASTM-G61 G199 standards. Regarding EN, methods data analysis used: frequency domain (power spectral density, PSD) time-frequency (discrete wavelet transform). For non-anodized alloys, results by CCP EN indicate icorr values ×10−6 However, under anodizing conditions, vary from ×10−7 ×10−9 PSD Ψ0 are higher for while range −138/−122 dBi (A2·Hz−1)1/2 −131/−180 (A2·Hz−1)1/2.
